Reggae declared part of the global patrimony of humanity

Here’s a microcosmic glimpse of the future. What happens when brown people take over? They pass resolutions proclaiming themselves to be officially Kangz; declare Beethoven was black; decree the ancient Greeks stole all their best sheeeeeit from King Bajumbo of Matabeleland; and ordain that reggae is now part of the global patrimony of humanity.

The future is arriving faster than anyone expected.

  1. I always hated reggae. It was on songline, tune, melody repeated for ever. Like rap. Though the punks got into it back then. Now their music is ageless.
