The basilica of Saint-Denis has been the final resting place for dozens of French kings and queens across the centuries. On Sunday it was invaded by a horde of illegal immigrants, accompanied by a few indigenous leftists.
Police eventually cleared them out, but the evening mass had to be cancelled.
Imagine the political/media response if a mosque or synagogue had been invaded by a patriot group.

The département where the Basilica is situated, Seine-Saint-Denis, produces the highest number of Muslim births in France: in 2016, just under 43 per cent of newborns received Muslim names, up from 17 per cent in 1996. A few more decades and the burial place of French kings will be the first to bury French Christianity.
